Coordinate staff credentials, restricted areas, door status, intrusion detection and supported panic or duress devices around the approved scope. Review responsibilities with your facility team, qualified alarm providers and relevant design professionals. Door locking, emergency egress and any life-safety interfaces need review by the responsible qualified providers and authority; access control alone is not a life-safety approval.

Identify supported equipment failures, communication outages, water leaks or temperature conditions that your team needs to know about. Scope backup power and communication options, document notification recipients, and test agreed outage scenarios. General equipment-health alerts are distinct from professional emergency monitoring; service hours, escalation and provider responsibilities are defined in writing.

Bring the floor plan, equipment inventory, applicable requirements and any inspection findings into one project record. Coordinate installation and configuration, test the agreed camera, alarm and access workflows, and prepare commissioning records, configuration documentation and a corrective-work list.
