Authorized users, entry and exit delays, zone names, and exception procedures should be understandable to the people opening and closing the business. Training covers missed arming, unexpected late work, and how to report a device problem without leaving the operating team guessing.

An alarm event needs a defined next step. Confirm monitoring hours, verification procedures, contact order, escalation, and any dispatch arrangements before service begins. Supported video and access events can provide additional context. Continuous monitoring and emergency dispatch are separate service commitments and are not implied by installing sensors.
